What is The Push-Up Challenge?
The Push-Up Challenge invites thousands of Australians each year to complete a set number of push-ups representing the lives lost to suicide. This year, from 3–26 June, the challenge returns with a goal of 3,307 push-ups or alternative exercises to be completed over 24 days. With over $70 million raised for mental health services and initiatives throughout the years, this is your year to join the movement.
Why take part?
The Push-Up Challenge is more than a fitness event. It’s a chance to support mental health through daily movement and create impact on mental health services like Lifeline, Headspace and the Push For Better Foundation. Every contribution adds up to a bigger impact for thousands of Australians. Here’s how the challenge can make an impact:

99% of participants said they felt fitter and stronger after completing the challenge.

98% of 2025 participants said that mental illness was destigmatised after completing the challenge.
